Our Pastor
I came to know the Lord at the age of 17 on a beer run for my mom in Northwest Florida. The night I accepted Jesus I spent over 3 hours at the altar as God poured His redemptive grace and love into my life. After trying things my own way for a while, God called me into ministry by sending me to Southeastern Bible College where I graduated in the spring of 1988. I have had the pleasure of serving 5 churches over 33 years in Student, Associate and Lead Pastor positions. God has also allowed me to lead many mission trips all over the world and I was privileged to serve as the director of Upward Sports. I have also worked as a Child Abuse Investigator, Juvenile Probation officer and a Guardian ad Litem Supervisor. I have been married to my beautiful bride, Robin for over 33 years, and together we have 3 amazing sons who all serve the Lord, and 1 sweet grandchild. We love our Crosspointe family, and living out God’s promises as we continue this amazing journey together.

Our Vision
Our purpose is to point people to the Cross in every situation.
Our Beliefs
Our Beliefs
ABOUT THE BIBLE
+ We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error. (2 Timothy 3:16)
ABOUT GOD
+ We believe in one personal God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, authority and glory. (Genesis 1:1, Revelation 4:8, Psalm 139:7-8, Psalm 147:5)
ABOUT JESUS
+ We believe Jesus Christ to be the virgin born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again bodily, and ascended to the Father. (John 1:1-4, Colossians 1:15-18, Matthew 1:18, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Luke 22:69)
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
+ We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer in Jesus, assures us of our salvation, guides us into all truth, glorifies Jesus and convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and empowers us for service. (Luke 1:35, Acts 2:38, 2 Corinthians 5:5, Ephesians 1:13-14, Galatians 5:16-17, John 16:8-11)
ABOUT MANKIND
+ We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God except through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:8-9, 2 Peter 1:4, 1 John 1:9, Isaiah 61:1, Exodus 20:1-6, Psalm 139:14)
ABOUT SALVATION
+ We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation cannot be earned, it is a gift from God. (Romans 3:23, Acts 4:12, Romans 5:9-11, Romans 10:9-10, Matthew 10:32)
ABOUT BAPTISM
+ We believe that after a person confesses Christ they should be obedient to Christian baptism. (Acts 22:16, Colossians 2:12, Mark 16:16, Mark 1:4-5, Matthew 28:19-20)
ABOUT THE CHURCH
+ We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him, obeying Him and bringing the gospel to the world. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Matthew 18:20, Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 4:11-13, Acts 2:42)
ABOUT ETERNITY
+ We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishing of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 John 5:13-20, Matthew 7:13-14, Revelation 3:5-9)
